A Student from Nankai University Law School was Selected as the 11th "Legal Intern" of the Supreme People's Court


In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC, study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, and strengthen the cultivation of socialist rule of law talents as well as enhance the in-depth exchange and cooperation between the People's Court and law schools, the Supreme People's Court issued an announcement in June 2022 to accept the 11th legal interns for Supreme People's Court nationwide.

Nankai University Law School actively responded to the announcement and organized students to apply and make recommendations. Recently, the Supreme People's Court announced that Chen Yujin, a master's degree student of 2021, was successfully selected.

Nankai University Law School has always been aiming at cultivating high-quality law talents and comprehensively improving students' professionalism and practical application ability. Since 2016, 11 students have participated in the legal internship program and successfully completed the internship. Among them, 7 students have been awarded the title of "Excellent Intern" by the Supreme People's Court, and have been highly evaluated by the leaders and experts of the Supreme People's Court.

In the future, Nankai University Law School will continue implementing the educational concept of combining theory and practice guiding by Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law. We have always been dedicated to provide more practice platforms for students, continued developing and improving the education and training mechanism of rule of law talents, and contributed to the cause of comprehensive rule of law.
