On Sept. 18th, 2022, the first lecture of the academic lecture series of Nankai University Law School was successfully held. The lecture was given by Professor as well as Doctoral Supervisor of Nankai University Law School, Mr. Fu Shicheng, and hosted by Professor Song Hualin, Dean of Nankai University Law School. The administrative and professional faculty members and the 2022 law school undergraduates participated online.
Prof. Fu has studied and worked in Nankai Law School for more than 40 years, and has been in the leadership of the Law School for 24 years. He once serving as the deputy director and director of the Law Department, the vice dean and dean of the Law School, and the secretary of the CPC Committee of the Law School. Prof. Fu gave a detailed introduction of the development history, professional construction, personnel training, faculty, current students and alumni situation of Nankai Law School and law discipline.
Through this lecture, the teachers and students had a deeper understanding of Nankai University Law School. Dean Song Hualin expressed his gratitude and thanks to the wisdom of Nankai law discipline builders represented by Prof. Fu. He hoped the discipline construction and talent training will be strengthened in the future and all the teachers and students of the Law School could forge ahead to build a respectable law school with academic influence.
There are six lectures in Nankai University Law School AcademicLecture Series, and the Law School hopes that through these lectures to lead students to deepen their professional knowledge. They wished the students could base on the background of national rejuvenation, take professional ability cultivation as the foundation, continuously improve legal literacy and comprehensive quality so that to be a legal talent who is worthy of the times!
