Nankai University Law School Held a Seminar on Application of National Social Science Fund Projects

In order to further improve the application quality, Nankai University Law School recently held a seminar on the application of the National Social Science Fund Project. A total of more than 20 project applicants and reviewers attended the meeting online, and Song Hualin, Vice Dean of Law School, presided over the meeting.


The project applicant reports on the basis of topic selection, research ideas, key and difficult points, innovations and research basis. Professor Yu Yuhe, Professor Yan Erbao, Professor Zhang Hongbo and Professor Song Hualin made detailed research in the early stage. They made suggestions on revising the declaration one by one in terms of the argumentation structure, research methods, and writing standards, and had in-depth exchanges with the declarant on the doubts and difficulties in writing. The applicant said that he has benefited a lot and will revise and improve as soon as possible according to the exchange results.


Previously, on Jan. 7th, 2022, Nankai Law School had organized the "Communication and Exchange Meeting of Humanities and Social Sciences Projects (Intended for Law Major)". Professor Fu Shicheng, Professor Yu Yuhe and Professor Zhang Hongbo, shared and explained their experiences in applying for National Social Science Fund Projects. Meng Delong, director of the Project and Achievement Office of the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences Research Administration, explained the latest policies of humanities and social sciences projects from the perspective of scientific research project management.


 In recent years, Nankai Law School has attached great importance to the application, mobilization, guidance and service of the National Social Science Fund Projects, and achieved the goal of "early planning, early mobilization, and early start". By carrying out a series of project application counseling activities, Nankai Law School has stimulated teachers' scientific research vitality, improved their ability to undertake projects, and achieved good results. It has made new progress in summarizing academic characteristics, building research teams, serving national needs, and improving innovation capabilities.
