Communication and Exchange Meeting of Humanities and Social Sciences Projects (Intended for Law Major) was Held

On Jan. 7th, 2022, the "Communication and Exchange Meeting of Humanities and Social Sciences Projects (Intended for Law Major)", jointly sponsored by the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences Research Administration of Nankai University and Nankai Law School was held, and more than 20 teachers attended.


Professor Fu Shicheng, Dean of Nankai Law School, Professor Yu Yuhe and Professor Zhang Hongbo, shared and explained their experiences in applying for National Social Science Fund Projects. Meng Delong, director of the Project and Achievement Office of the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences Research Administration, explained the latest policies of humanities and social sciences projects from the perspective of scientific research project management. Communication and exchange meeting was hosted by the Vice Dean of Nankai Law School, Professor Song Hualin.


Professor Fu Shicheng focused on sharing experience from the perspective of topic selection, literature collation, basic preparation, argument structure, etc. Professor Yu Yuhe made a detailed explanation in terms of focusing hot spot, pragmatism & innovation and length structure. Professor Zhang Hongbo gave applicant teachers, especially junior faculty, in-depth hints on getting gist, laying a good foundation and revising the manuscript. In combination with the declaration time nodes of various projects, Meng Delong pointed out that teachers should reasonably take control of the progress, carefully revise the articles, and attach importance to improving the content quality. In the end, Professor Song Hualin suggested that teachers should deepen their research fields and create academic information cards. The topic selection should be based on existing research and fully demonstrate the theoretical and practical significance.


Teachers participating in the meeting said that the exchange meeting was very enlightening, and they would make plans and actively prepare for the application. The meeting had achieved good results.
