Two Students Win the First Prize in the National Students' Copyright Essay Contest


The National Copyright Administration released the List of Winners of the 13th National Students' Copyright Essay Contest, in which Nankai University students won two prizes. 

The essay of Yang Tianhao, a graduate in the Class of 2020 of the Law School, Rethinking and Reconstructing the Originality of Works under the Perspective of the Theory of Legal-Philosophical Personality - Taking the Characterization of Artificial Intelligence Generative Objects as a Perspective won the first prize in the graduate group. 

And Liu Yuanzhe, an undergraduate whose major is Economics, Management and Law won the first prize in the undergraduate category for his thesis on Dilemmas of Proper Citation in Copyright Law and Suggestions for Improvement. Both papers were supervised by Professor Zhang Ling, Director of Civil and Commercial Law Department. 

The Tianjin Copyright Bureau awarded Nankai University the honorary title of Excellent Organization Unit of Copyright Essay Writing Activities for Students in Tianjin for its outstanding performance.
