On October 17th, 2021, a symposium on public health law was successfully held. The symposium was a part of the sub-forum of public health safety in the context of sustainable urban development, which belonged to the Tianjin Forum 2021. The forum, co-organized by Nankai University and Chey Institute for Advanced Studies, was hosted by Nankai University School of Law. More than fifty scholars and students from universities and research institutes attended the symposium.
The symposium focused on the frontier of public health law. The conference discussed issues such as public health early warning, reform of disease control system, vaccination, prevention and treatment of chronic diseases and health law framework.
This conference was of great theoretical and practical significance as it directly serves the major national needs of the rule of law.
