Professor Zhao Hong lectures on The Examination Mode of Administrative Litigation Claim Right and its Substantive Law Basis

On the morning of June 27, Zhao Hong, a Professor from the Law School of China University of Political Science and law, giving a lecture on The examination mode of administrative litigation claim right and its substantive law basis


This lecture was hosted by Professor Yan Erbao, Director of the Constitutional and Administrative Law teaching and Research Department of Nankai University School of Law. 


Professor Fu Shicheng, Dean of Nankai University School of Law, Professor Song Hualin, Professor Tu Zhenyu, Associate Professor Wang Ruixue, Dr. Jia zhuowei, Dr. Li Heng, Huo Jingyu, Associate Dean of the Hefei University of Technology, Dr Li Qin from Hebei University, Dr Jia Weizhen from Civil Aviation University of China attended the lectures. Dozens of doctoral, graduate and undergraduate students from Nankai University’s School of Law attended the lecture.


Professor Zhao starts with the thinking mode of civil law, explains the typical structure of right of claim, and points out that the examination mode of right of claim in civil law has already appeared in the judicial practice of administrative litigation in China. 


Professor Zhao makes a detailed analysis of the procedure of examination of action, trial and judgment under the mode of examination of claim right, and analyzes the difference between subjective action and objective action. 


During the discussion session, He Tianwen consulted Professor Zhao Hong on the application of the theory of protection norms, Lv Zhengyi raised a question about how to construct the type of claim right. Professor Zhao responded to the questions raised by the teachers and students.


Finally, Professor Yan Erbao concluded that it is highly agreed that the basic knowledge of civil law is of great help to the study of administrative law, and that the current traditional mode of administrative acts may change in the future, he thanks again to Professor Zhao for her wonderful lecture and express his expectation forProfessor Zhao’s coming again at her convenience.
