2022 Summer Faculty Training as well as Training Session on the Declaration of First-class Undergraduate Courses

In order to effectively promote the construction of first-class courses and help teachers deeply understand the evaluation standards of first-class undergraduate courses, Nankai University Law School held a training session on the declaration of first-class undergraduate courses on Aug. 18th, 2022. The training invited the first-class course declaration team of WisdomTree.com to give a speech on the evaluation policy and declaration support services. Nearly 40 members of the Law school leadership, teachers and academic affairs officers participated online. And the training was hosted by Professor Wang Qiangjun, Vice dean of the Law School.


Professor Song Hualin, Dean of the Law School, welcomed and thanked the Tianjin team of WisdomTree.com on behalf of the Law School. He pointed out that through the construction of several generations, Nankai University Law School has become one of the cores in domestic law talent cultivation.


And then Prof. Wang Qiangjun introduced the main objective of this training. He emphasized that the first-class undergraduate curriculum is a landmark indicator to verify the level of professional training so that the faculty should strengthen the understanding of the importance and urgency of it. After that, Ms. Zhang Jingjing, the undergraduate academic affairs officer, reported the research results of the construction of the first-class courses and the plan of the declaration work of the Law School this year. In the formal training session, Ms. Ai Xinrui, a senior course consultant of WisdomTree.com, gave a detailed introduction on the background of the construction of first-class undergraduate courses, the evaluation index and the declaration requirements of various courses.


This training session is not only an important part of the 2022 summer training for teachers, but also one of the series of activities implemented by the CPC Committee of the School to comprehensively improve the teaching ability in the new era. The Law School will continue to organize a series of training and exchange activities so as to "build a platform" for improving teaching quality and fully promote the construction of first-class undergraduate majors in law.
