On Sept. 6th, 2022, Nankai University Law School held an online training on the topic of " Legal (Academic) Resources Search, Utilization and Research " for the 2022 doctoral students. Ms. Xu Meilian and Mr. Jia Zhuowei from the Resource Center of the Law School were the speakers of this training, and they gave an informative academic report. The training was hosted by Mr. Ding Zhengkai, the counselor of 2022 PhD students, and all 15 PhD students of 2022 attended the training online.
Ms. Xu firstly introduced the distribution of legal (academic) literature resources in Tianjin, and then gave an in-depth and professional interpretation of the specific types of legal (academic) literature resources, such as traditional resources and digital resources. After that, Mr. Jia explained three questions on the theme of "Legal Literature Resources Searching”, that is "Why should we study legal literature resources searching? (WHY)", "What is legal literature resource searching? (WHAT)", "How to use legal literature resource search? (HOW)". Both teachers encouraged the students to make full use of the first-class hardware and software learning and research environment in the Law School Resource Center, and wished them could make fruitful research achievements.
At the end of the lecture, Ms. Xu and Ms. Jia actively interacted with the students and exchanged practical tips and experiences on literature searching. Finally, the two-hour training session ended successfully with the enthusiastic applause of the students.
